Rays Power Infra Secures India’s Largest Vanadium Battery Contract from NTPC

Rays Power Infra has successfully secured India’s largest vanadium redox flow battery
(VRFB) contract from NTPC Ltd. The company will execute a 600KW / 3000KWh project
for NTPC’s research division, NETRA.
This win emphasizes Rays Power Infra’s expanding presence in India’s renewable energy
storage sector, providing essential long-duration and cost-effective solutions that support grid
stability and enhance renewable energy integration.
Ketan Mehta, the Managing Director & CEO of Rays Power Infra, expressed pride in this

initiatives. He remarked that the project is in line with India’s ambitious renewable energy

Vaibhav Roongta, Chief Business Officer at Rays Power Infra, highlighted the importance of
this vanadium flow battery project, which is the first of its kind in India to offer five hours of
energy storage capacity.
