JK Cement Expands Production with New Prayagraj Grinding Unit

JK Cement has recently announced the inauguration of a new grinding unit at its Prayagraj
Plant in Uttar Pradesh, significantly increasing its production capacity. This expansion,
completed in under 10 months, elevates JK Cement’s total capacity from 22 MTPA to 24
MTPA, strengthening its market position.
The new 2 MTPA Clinker Grinding unit features cutting-edge German technology designed
to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Strategically situated in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, the factory aims to effectively meet the
region’s growing cement demand, driven by substantial infrastructure development projects.
Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, CEO of JK Cement Ltd, emphasized the significance of this
capacity increase for the company’s growth, highlighting values such as quality, innovation,
and regional development. This expansion aligns with India’s infrastructure growth plan,
enabling JK Cement to support upcoming national development projects.
